1.1.3 Jailbroken
Saturday, January 19, 2008
According to loman06, the new iPhone/Touch update has been jailbroken. I’m not sure who figured it out but apparently the process won’t be made public until the SDK is released in February. Don’t ask me why, I can’t think of any good reasons. Here’s a video with proof, it shows an iPod Touch with Installer.app on it and its able to change the order of the icons, which of course is only possible with the new update. Here’s a question: Why will we need to jailbreak our iPhones after the SDK is released? I guess all answers will be revealed in February.
yea i’m excited about the new update and I’m eager for the new jailbreak to come out. The reason they are not releasing the new jailbreak until late february is because they don’t want apple to get a hold of it and patch it when they release the sdk. don’t mind wating until late february when i can have a jailbroken 1.1.3 AND SDK
Hmml… Not bad of an idea except that I hope Apple doesn’t charge more than the iPod touch update……..
o wow intersting can’t wait!
I don’t get the point of holding off on the release. Once the SDK is released and people are able to get 3rd party apps without hacking, there will be a lot less people willing to hack their phones. Holding off will be stupid in an attempt to avoid getting it patched too. 1.1.3 isn’t gonna be the last update ever, I even think we will get another before the SDK is released and if that is the case most phones will no longer be running 1.1.3. Also, once this jailbreak is released Apple will see it and probably make a patch anyway.
thats very smart od the dec team to wait til feb,,,otherwise apple wud jus make u do another update for the sdk which wud probably blok the iphone once more..
i can’t wait until SDK comes out! it’s taking foreverrr
I hope someone leaks the jailbreak
I wish they would release the jailbreak sooner. I can’t wait!
im so excited about the jeailbreak
